Our Story
It all started in the summer of 2012, when Olivia sold Lawrence tickets to a student night at The Forum - a student nightclub famous amongst all of our friends from that area. We soon started seeing each other and after a very expensive first date, where Lawrence got a parking ticket outside a milkshake bar in London, a relationship began..
We soon realised we both had a lot more in common than first anticipated; same sense of humour, same music taste, both enjoy eating out, both love visiting new places, have a buzz for travelling to new countries and both close to our families!

Barbados - 2016
After being together in the UK for 5 years, sharing numerous weekends away, going to gigs and holidays together, we both wanted to travel further afield and in early 2017, we finally took the plunge and booked flights to Perth.
Having previously not lived together in the UK, we suddenly found ourselves living together in very close proximity - on a strawberry farm in a tin shed (I think Olivia is still scarred from this experience), in a campervan travelling the coast of Western Australia and in a variety of share houses - before finally finding our feet and having our own place.
We said it would be make or break before embarking on our travels and with the struggles we've overcome and memories we've made it has certainly made us.
Ubud - Bali - 2017
During a trip to Darwin, Lawrence had planned a surprise beach picnic through a company he had found online. As we were walking along the foreshore, a random woman started waving at Lawrence, with Olivia thinking to herself "how the hell does Lawrence know a random woman in Darwin"!! The setup was picturesque, with the picnic being set up on a private beach.
Lawrence was a bag of nerves, not eating any of the charcuterie, whilst Olivia was oblivious, eating all the cheese. Before it got too dark (and before Olivia devoured any more of the food), Lawrence pretended to set up a GoPro picture, got down on one knee and blubbered out some words, which sounded nothing like he had rehearsed! Lawrence could then finally relax, enjoy the picnic with his new fiance beside him.
The Proposal
Chester
Of course we have to mention Chester... When we both discussed the idea of wanting a dog, we had different ideas about the breed we wanted; Olivia wanted a cute fluffy dog and Lawrence wanted a bigger dog with the vision of going for runs along the beach with it... so we came to a compromise and of course we got a cute fluffy dog!
We picked up Chester in September 2022; first of all it's hard to imagine our lives without Chester now, secondly it's pushed Lawrence even further down the pecking order as Chester is now the firm favourite in the house.
Keep your eyes out for Chester over the wedding weekend as I'm sure he will be making an appearance!
